抹面砂浆:薄层与普通层,差的不只是厚度

抹面砂浆按施工厚度分为两大类:普通抹灰砂浆,厚度通常在15-20mm;薄层抹灰砂浆,厚度仅3-8mm。两者相差的不只是厚度,而是完全不同的材料逻辑和适用场景。

The strength grade of ordinary plastering mortar ranges from M2.5 to M30, while M5 or M7.5 is usually used for aerated concrete walls, and M10 or above may be required for concrete walls. But thick plastering has an inherent weakness: the amount of cement used is large, and the shrinkage rate is also high. If the maintenance is not in place, fine cracks are prone to appear on the surface of thick mortar.

The construction thickness of 3-8mm means that it cannot be used to "fill in" the large unevenness of the base layer - the base layer must be treated first, and the thin layer of mortar is only used for the final fine leveling. The advantage of thin mortar lies in its light weight and low load on the base layer; Fast drying, shortening the construction period; Shrinkage is small and not easy to crack.

However, gypsum based mortar is not suitable for humid environments, and cement-based plastering mortar is still required for scenes such as kitchens, bathrooms, and exterior walls.
